This document has been created in response to the need of standardization in the worldwide Digital Signage (DS) industry. The aim of this document is to describe the fundamentals for the standardization of the several aspects of the Digital Signage application and to start the coordination of activities by manufacturers, vendors, consultants, and Digital Signage network operators/owners
to achieve the above mentioned standardization goal.
This Standardization Committee is a voluntary initiative aimed to bring interested stakeholders together.
Parties signing up will be expected to follow the intent of this Committee and abide by a set of agreed commitments.
